Dental Health Command Europe Inactivated
18 July 2025 – Dental Health Command Europe (DHCE) headquarters conducts its inactivation ceremony on Sembach Kaserne. BG Roger Giraud, commanding general of Medical Readiness Command, Europe, and director, Defense Health Network Europe, hosts the ceremony. Although dental services will continue to be provided to soldiers stationed in Europe, this inactivation ceremony concludes a significant chapter in Army dentistry in Europe that ensured soldier readiness going back to World War II. COL Scott Rankin, outgoing DHCE commander, moves to Joint Base San Antonio as the Army Dental Corps Specific Branch Proponent officer.
