Fort Leavenworth Dental Clinic Command Deactivates
11 July 2025 – The U.S. Army Dental Clinic Command Fort Leavenworth, marks its official deactivation of the unit and honors its final commander, MAJ David Chen. The ceremony recognizes the unit’s legacy of delivering high-quality dental care and ensuring the medical readiness of thousands of Army and sister-service personnel.
The Fort Leavenworth Dental Clinic delivers dental healthcare to service members assigned to Fort Leavenworth, as well as to the populations of United States Disciplinary Barracks and the Joint Regional Correctional Facility.
A new officer in charge of dental services now reports to the commander of Munson Army Health Center at Fort Leavenworth.
