Fort Polk Dental Command Cases its Colors
30 September 2025 – The Dental Health Activity at the Joint Readiness Training Center and Fort Polk cases its colors during a deactivation ceremony. The ceremony, which officially deactivates the Fort Polk Dental Health Activity, formally ends more than 70 years of dedicated dental support to Soldiers and families on the installation. COL Stefan S. Olpinski, commander of Dental Health Command, West, presides over the ceremony along with COL Suzanne L. Jones, commander of the Fort Polk Dental Health Activity. As of Sept. 30, the Fort Polk Dental Health Activity’s mission, personnel and facilities realign under Bayne-Jones Army Community Hospital to ensure continuity of care for Soldiers and families.
