Members of Army Dentistry Team Receive Military Health System Recognition
26-29 May 2026 – At the Military Health System Conference in Dallas, Texas, the MHS recognizes outstanding military medicine professionals who are excelling at their craft, rising stars and innovators. Among those recognized are three members of the Army Dentistry team, including: the 2025 MHS Awards for the Advancement of Dentistry in Military Medicine. The awardees include:
2025 MHS Award for the Advancement of Dentistry in Military Medicine – Junior Winner: MAJ Eric C. Hu (Fort Hood, Killeen, Texas)
2025 MHS Award for the Advancement of Dentistry in Military Medicine – Senior Winner: COL Melissa F. Tucker (Blanchfield Army Community Hospital, Fort Campbell, Ky.)
2025 MHS Enlisted Leadership Excellence Award – Rising Leader: CPL Valerie Bravo (Fulton Dental Clinic, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Tacoma, Wash.)
